About Us:

The Boston Line Dance Group was founded 2011 by Tracy Smith (L) and Betty Cohen (R).

One night in the backyard of a close friend, Betty was teaching Tracy some line dances she had learned, Tracy quickly caught on and caught the line dancing bug and found the love of line dancing. After they discussed some ideas, they both agreed to start teaching line dancing and shortly after start a group. They quickly started production of a series of classes, performances, and developed a strong line dance family  and community in Boston. Tracy has since passed unexpectedly and Betty has been keeping the line dance family strong in remembrance of Tracy.​​
